So true. We (my youngest and I) are doing a tour of the different castles of the North th of England where we live and the portraits and pictures show this.

I love the photo of the three queens—Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and The Queen—in mourning after the death of George VI. Only a year of overlap.
